外媒消息，任天堂出品的游戏Pokémon Go风靡全世界后，由于从iOS端登陆游戏要求玩家提供谷歌账户全权限，引发用户对邮箱账户和位置等关键信息能否得到安全保障的担忧。对此，任天堂游戏实验室开发者表示，任天堂不会收集除“谷歌基础配置文件信息”以外的任何资料数据，相关漏洞修复工作正在进行中。

任天堂官方正式声明如下：

"We recently discovered that the Pokémon Go account creation process on iOS erroneously requests full access permission for the user’s Google account. However, Pokémon Go only accesses basic Google profile information (specifically, your User ID and email address)and no other Google account information is or has been accessed or collected.Once we became aware of this error, we began working on a client-side fix to request permission for only basic Google profile information, in line with the data that we actually access. Google has verified that no other information has been received or accessed by Pokémon Go or Niantic. Google will soon reduce Pokémon Go’s permission to only the basic profile data that Pokémon Go needs,and users do not need to take any actions themselves."

“最近，我们发现iOS客户端Pokémon Go账户创建过程中，系统默认要求获取用户谷歌账户全部权限。然而，Pokémon Go只会接触到用户谷歌基础配置文件信息（具体为谷歌用户ID和电子邮件地址）。任天堂不会，且到目前为止也没有接触到或收集用户谷歌账户其它信息。我们刚发现了这个问题就开始了客户端漏洞修复工作，保证应用只会获得谷歌基础配置文件信息，以及我们实际获取的必要数据。同时，谷歌公司也已经证实Pokémon Go和任天堂公司均未获取或收集到其它关键信息，并很快会降低提供给Pokémon Go应用的权限，仅允许其接触到必要的基础配置文件信息，用户无须自行采取任何措施。”
